Frequently Asked Questions
Why would I send my daughter to NAF?
NAF gives your daughter a unique opportunity to receive one-on-one instruction and help with weight management and weight loss from caring professional coaches and instructors.  No where else could she be in an environment like NAF which will give her a permanent solution for life.

 What is NAF’s Guarantee?
If your daughter is enrolled in NAF for a minimum of 9 months, completes all parts of our program (including the parent seminar), and then within 3 months of completion she lapses back into old habits and weight gain, your daughter will receive an additional 1 month enrollment at NAF free of charge.

 What is the Parent Seminar?
The Parent Seminar is vital to your daughter’s success!  As a parent, you need to know what your daughter is learning and the changes she is making while at NAF.  Once she graduates from the program and returns home, you will be a key to her success by motivating her and keeping an environment where your daughter can maintain the new habits she has gained while at NAF.  The seminar will give you easy steps which will help you accomplish this.

How well will my daughter be supervised while there?
Your daughter will be well cared for by competent and caring staff who are trained in first aid and CPR.  Your daughter’s well-being and happiness are most important to us.

How long should my daughter be enrolled there?
That will depend upon your daughter’s goals and progress.  We require a minimum enrollment of 3 months but stress that it is hard to bring about lifestyle changes in that short period of time.  We want to not only help your daughter lose weight, but to keep it off for life.  We have found that at least 6 months is needed to see the most success.

What about my daughter’s schooling while she’s enrolled?
We are an accredited school and place great emphasis on your daughter’s education while at NAF.  Our low student-to-teacher ratio makes it easy for your daughter to get the individualized help and attention she needs.

I heard that I can write part of the tuition off from my taxes?
That’s right!  The IRS has allowed the treatment of obesity to be a tax break.  Much of the cost of the tuition for NAF may be tax deductible.  Consult your tax adviser to find out more.
